West End, the neighborhood that we live in, has a large Greek population and a yearly Greek festival to match. We went with Andrew and Kellie. Mostly we ate and drank, and I believe I won the award for most food to body mass ratio that night! Here they are eating gyros.
This is the absolute best baklava I've ever had!
There were dozens of stall selling handmade Greek food. The little round things are called honey balls and are like donut holes dripping in honey. The larger things are a savory cheese pastry, which was just amazing!
We all shared a plate of honey balls.
Panyiri is not a small affair! There were hundreds of people there.
After all the food and drink, Sev managed a carnival ride without losing his dinner!
